Thing for me is that was a lung busting defensive performance, as you might expect against Arsenal, but did he really think they would be able to perform to that level for the entire 90 mins?We have a manager who can set up effectively behind the ball, but unless we have a player having a stormer carrying the ball then we hand the ball way too cheaply over to the opposition and that happens tonight.
We cant play passing football with composure under any sort of pressure. That's Moyes's major weakness. He doesn't do passing football.

My point is that it was within touching distance the finishing line.
Arsenal were clueless with what we had in front of them...any changes at that stage benefit them not us.
Shame we have 2 awful forwards that can’t hold the ball up tbh.

Moyes is a numbers man. Playing the numbers is infinitely better than where we were under previous managers. It won't win us anything, but he'll leave us in a good place for the next manager, if they are any good. It's great that we can nullify most teams apart from the very best, but FFS how hels gone through his managerial career by not coaching passing at PL level is dumbfounding.
You do know the irony of your comment, dont you?Can you explain where you think a competent manager would have Everton? That’s me assuming you don’t think Moyes is fit for purpose.
