We have a manager who can set up effectively behind the ball, but unless we have a player having a stormer carrying the ball then we hand the ball way too cheaply over to the opposition and that happens tonight.

We cant play passing football with composure under any sort of pressure. That's Moyes's major weakness. He doesn't do passing football.

86 minutes on the clock and he changes a good formula. McNeil could have got another 5 minutes and then we run down the clock making 3 subs.

Moyes just doesn't see it.

Second half we were poor. Nowhere near the level of the first half. McNeill needed to come off as he looked knackered but Barry was poor when he came on. Beto did ok (while being totally ineffective as a striker).

Indeed...arsenal were lucky today, at home...we could have won it, and we dont deserve to lose for sure. Pickford had a quite game until the last few minutes.

He’s done fine this season, but today was a good snapshot of Moyes against more modern managers. One put his faith in youth and was rewarded, the other has a team full of promising youth and won’t play any of them. That’s the frustrating part

Credit to Arsenal. They are incredibly well drilled. They are willing to play the most shamlessly boring footy in history and follow the instructions to a T. Winning is the cure I guess, but man there is nobody I hate to watch more.
