2025/26 David Moyes

Who are building a club. How long that takes I wouldn' have a clue but I imagine more than 12 months. Why would they change now when we are not in any danger?
A year in at Roma they got rid of the manager hired Mourinho, with a remit to get top 4 and champions league football. Moyes got us 13th and was then given 130mil, maybe they want top 10?? He’s on course at the moment, but a long way to go

Really? Have you been asleep the last 10 years with our appointments? We were still in the richest league then.

I recall we spoke to Emre before Carlo and he palmed us off with taking a break before he took the PSG job. We are not a pull for anyone decent. We only go for punts.
A mid table, big English club, in a new magnificent stadium, with new wealthy owners. Best and richest league in the world, We will be batting them off. Emery ended up
Going to a team in the bottom 6, who had been in the championship 2yrs before,
Sort of proves my point.

If we go for Fabregas and Barcelona want him, then he’s not coming to us
IE Emery and PSG

Edit, we’re also a totally different club from the previous 10yrs or have you been asleep for 12 months

It's quite a disrespectful comment to Fulham, Just because we love our club and we our massive in our eyes.
To outside world, where have we been recently. Nearly disapeared from the game.

In fact the kind of players we want nowadays weren't even born when we last won a trophy.

Are we bigger, yes a bigger club, but we need to start earning that term back..
Quite right and it didn’t matter to Tete.

Some Supporters are still stuck in the 80s - TV money is what matters now which is why the likes of Bournemouth, Brighton and Brentford can compete. For example for the 23/24 season we earned 186.9m, Fulham 186.2m.

Fulham are of course a smaller club, in terms of fanbase etc but only marginally so in some of the modern statistics that are relevant to players. Money, and location being prime examples of why players move.

I’m not sure age affects your ability to judge a player… if anything, the buildup of knowledge should make it easier.
Nah, age doesn't taint my ability to know talent when i see it.

But don't keep bringing up the past, bring up the now..

Stick to your guns and say, KDH, Dibling, Rohl, Charly, Aznou, Barry..

Also, start reading posts properly before jumping mate, you're like a dog that can sniff a Moyes post from anywhere..

My post was putting someone else's point of view into perspective..

Sure, but Roma were also 5th and in the Europa league the season before Friedken took over. We weren't near that and had an entire squad to build.

PSR will be over 06/30/2026, if we don't see a large change in the squad this summer I would start to question them.

This story ended with us hiring Ancelotti so I’m not sure how you can say we wouldn’t be a pull for anyone decent. Koeman left Southampton to come to us and that was under Moshiri.

A large PL club with transfer funds to spend will attract very good managers if the timing is right.

If a world class manager becomes available Everton should always try to attract one. It’s the only way you win anything.
