2025/26 David Moyes

Would be the perfect time for Moyes to move on, dont forget TFG only offered 18 months which would have ended this June.

Shake hands and part amicably, let him try his hand with Celtic or Scotland... let us move on with Positive football and changing the way everyone in the club thinks, developing youth and having some exciting football for once.

I think the club sticks with Moyes due to him offering stability for a number of seasons.

I understand the point of view. I also think it depends who is available currently and not sacking moyes and then sending out a scouting mission to find a manager.

However Iraola for me would be an ideal replacement offering the intensity which would suit the club, the work rate Everton supporters demand from players etc. This is a slip up if he was/is/will not be considered. I doubt its even a discussion at board level which doesnt suprise me.

I remember thinking when klippdy joined the others...f sake this changes them, their mentality, the way they will play all leading to intensity, the players they went for, the style of play, direct, hard working etc.

They will get Iraola now and have a real opportunity of creating another outfit challenge for trophies.

Looks like Iraola is going to Liverpool as they dont think Slot is going to improve them, while we just plod along just existing.
Are board being completey happy with what we have, then fans wonder why we never win anything or even look like wining anything

If he ends up at the RS and we’ve sat on our hands to retain 13th place there’ll be short shrift from the fans next season.

A manager in his final year that most of the fans don’t want and a group of players who aren’t very good with a history of just downing tools when it suits. What could go wrong.

Interesting that he never has been in the running for the job at Parkhead given the seeming revolving door they have for the managers job.

Guess the expectation is a little too much for the cardiganned curmudgeon.
