Aye true, good point. Though not 20minutes after FTUnlike the rest of us he has the chance to get it right.

Thought Bernardo Silva was class against the RS the other day and he might be been the smallest on the pitch
There are still loads of really good footballers. The idea that league used to be full of absolute maverick ballers is just nonsense. It was full of mediocre cloggers like Kevin Nolan, Ryan Shawcross and Lee Cattermole. The likes of whom just don’t get in Prem sides anymore.
Yes, he is great....but he would just be one of loads in Euro leagues....he stands out more here cos he is surrounded my monsters who love to run in straight lines.
That Thiaw at Newcastle is just 1 example, terrible in Italy, like really bad....Yet here some fans say he is one of the bets in the prem....thats because he is asked to do less....and just need his size here.
It is strange that we as a club have bought into this PL propaganda more than most. That Rayan lad for Bouremouth: Bought, straight in and banging from the start. They are still all over the league !!
I mean our average sides sign the best players in Italy. Tonali left his boyhood club to join Newcastle, whereas absolute plop like Loftus Cheek go and play for AC Milan.
Who would have bet on that?!?I mean our average sides sign the best players in Italy. Tonali left his boyhood club to join Newcastle, whereas absolute plop like Loftus Cheek go and play for AC Milan.

Yes course, that's all about the money isnt it.
Prem is used as a cash cow to save them financially, they take the mick out of it.....Prem teams have just been milked by Lazio.
Loftus Cheek would start for us and about 12/14 prem teams....he left one of the best teams in England, not like he dropped out of 20th place team mate, come on.
Loads of examples we can both use, as its about styles, but mainly money.
Money does not mean any of it is better to watch.

Tonali also wants to go back Italy.

Milan signed Niklas Fullkrug who is one of the worst strikers I’ve ever seen grace this league.
This in a nutshell.
I don't think it is even a Moyes thing, we don't seem to have had a consistent method of transitioning and cohering the striker with the 'attacking' midfielders since Martinez (maybe a spell at start of the season under Carlo) so the striker is feeding off scraps and permanently outnumbered by opposition defenders. 4 2 3 1 seems not to work but is the dominant style played now, is our problem we have never really had the '10' to do this (irony given we tried signing 4 or 5 of them one summer).
You're saying that a man who's won the league in 3 different countries, the Champions League, the Nations League, 13 major domestic trophies, has over 100 caps for Portugal, has been named in the World XI, the Champions League XI, and has made the top 10 of the ballon d'or rankings twice would just be an average midfielder if he was playing in 'loads' of European leagues? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHAAHAHAHAHA.Yes, he is great....but he would just be one of loads in Euro leagues....he stands out more here cos he is surrounded my monsters who love to run in straight lines.
