2025/26 David Moyes

How anyone can be calling for his head is baffling to me 😂. Not perfect by any means, but our best manager since - himself, funnily enough.

Nobody could have seen a European push coming this season, not a chance.

He does need to stop being quite as stubborn but I’d say he’s hitting his remit and then some. Stabilise, build, leave a good squad for the next long term boss. (Exacldy what Roberto got after his first spell)

Really? Villa are the biggest club in the second biggest City in England. I'd be amazed if we over take them in terms of revenue.
If you’d told me that post-Gerrard Aston Villa would have Unai Emery and be challenging for the Champions League every year, my reaction would’ve been, “Really?”. Things can change very quick in football, we've gone from relegation battlers to top 8 in a year under Moyes, fantastic - lets see how we get on next year and if we push on again

12 months ago Everton were sitting 1 place out of the relegation zone. If Everton win tonight they'll go above brentford and liverpool into 6th.
What exactly were you expecting in a 12 month turnaround. The Title?
We’ve been very good away from home and I’ve already said Moyes has done a great job. That doesn’t mean people don’t have every right to criticise the home form without being labelled as MAGA-like.

We are thinking about this all wrong

Forget about a manager who can get us into Europe and win us silverware

We need a manager who can bring unity this forum. Does that man exist in world football? Pull your finger out TFG

If any manager. Not Moyes. Any manager had taken over and sat in a presser the day after dyche was sacked while the club was sitting in 17th and said im hoping in 12 months i can have the club a win away from being in the top 6 there isnt a single Everton fan who wouldnt have grabbed that. Thats where we are today.
That jump from perennial relegation scraps to fighting for a European scrap in 12 months is where im at. Even if i think the manager is stubborn.
