2025/26 David Moyes

He wasn't sacked though, was he? He was signed up, out of retirement, in November until the end of the season where he then moved upstairs.

Moyes was hired as our manager until 2027, so would need sacking, which he isn't being if he finishes 9th.
I don’t think it’s as black and white as that. They will be looking at new managers. If the one who’s top of their list is available in the summer. Do they pass on him and then have to go for the 3rd or 4th on their list 12 months later .

Funny that, because my mates a utd fan and can’t stand him. The woman who walks my dog, her dad’s a Sunderland fan and he also has not time for Moyes . And my boss’s, cousins, best friend has just been to Sociedad on holiday and they despise him, banners everywhere apparently

it is also funny, I knew somebody who had no opinion on him. People with different opinions shocker.

It is as if some people can't please all people all the time.

Yeah of course it is, my point had nothing to do with how beneficial europe would be to the club, everyone wants it.

My point was that certain people possibly have a ulteria motives behind it.
We do have people on here that will be forever blinded by our manager..
As much as they would like the chance of europe, it would also provide them with an extra bat to beat the man with if things don't turn out rosy.

We already have probably atleast 50m out the door come summer, and thats not including Jack situation.
We than have to address Fb's and striker as a priority. That's a pretty hefty amount just to fill the gaps in the first 11.

We need a pretty damn impressive window of ins and outs.

Bring it on though, just dont want to be reading pages after pages of crap blaming us for not being fully prepared, if something like league positioning takes a hit..
Agree with this... What did you mean by '50m out the door in summer'?

Sales...or obligations on players/loans already here? I don't know who or what we owe, but would happily see a few transfers around
- FBs
- CF.
- Cover/ replacement for Jack/illy ( I'd love the latter to stay)
- prob some business around Patterson, McNeil, Seamus ( been a legend , surely times up), Beto.

Absolute leader of men is Moyes:

Following on from his nonsense about Dibling, here he is on Tyrique George:

“I am seeing a bit of him which I like but again he’s a young player. He’s still a young boy. So, we have to be careful and we don’t expect too much from him. It is not as if we are getting a Jack Grealish.”

If this doesnt underline his desire for experienced players above all else then i dont know what does.

I am sorry, but what is wrong with that statement?

Basically saying that we shouldn't be too worried that he is not an experienced player, and expecting them to perform to the highest level every game. No need to blow smoke up every players arse, just because they are a highly rated youngster.

Come on mate you can do better than that,
Dog walkers dad and boss's cousins, best friend..

That sounds like something i'd read in the transfer thread..

Rohl and George, both payments will be next years accounts.

Given no other considerations (i.e. cost and longevity) every manager in world football would prefer an experienced player who is proven at the highest level over an unproven young player you absolute loon. And yet Moyes still plays 18 year old Harrison Armstrong, bought Dibling, Aznou, Tyrique, Barry and Rohl.

Ha ha ha.

Imagine being signed by him.

FFS, I'd run a mile from him.

"You absolute loon"

I didn't ask you to respond to my post. I certainly didnt direct it at you.

You have insulted a number of posters on here.

Seems like your partner outshines you so you take it out on people online.

@chicoazul can perhaps offer you some guidance

If you talk to non-Everton fans they think we would be insane to even consider getting rid of him. The West Ham supporting cabbie who drove me to the match on Saturday was also full of praise for Moyes and deeply regretted him leaving. I live around lots of West Ham fans and that’s a pretty much universal feeling in my experience.
West Ham fans wanting him back isn't a good enough reason to keep him post 2027 cos guess what? We're thankfully not West Ham

It’s tinpot mentality to think that under new owners Everton couldn’t aim higher than Moyes, stop acting like this is kenwrights Everton.

Half of West Hams fanbase couldn't stand him towards the end

The actual match going fans had enough of him half way through his final season.

From that point onwards the team were an utter shambles and the majority wanted him gone.

Seeing as you addressed me.

Why are you lying...

Its either an insult or a lie with you...

Exhausting.
