As with Moyes in general you can look at it two ways. One is that he's trying to take pressure off the players and himself. The other is he's a miserable git and constantly talks down the club which is damaging. I'm in the second camp to a degree, I don't want the bs of a Martinez, but I do want a more positive outlook from the manager.

Not Grealish = Grealish is world class and injured so whatever Moyes achieves should be praised doubly by TFG.
On Dibling
Pulling his finger out = Left isolated and treated badly. Pass the blame onto a young boy to remove blame from himself.

Did ok out of position = Wont be proven wrong on a player (yet again) despite the fans seeing quality and Garner calling for regular time

If he stays its to start = Started last game and the first sub. Despite Gana looking far worse. Wont be shown up so will continue to start him and may stay out of position just to play so Moyes isnt proven wrong

Only at the end of the season will we be able to judge whether Moyes is effectively tempering expectations to help us overachieve, or whether he is being unnecessarily negative and characteristically dour.

I'd have defended the Keane decision at the weekend, given Branthwaite possibly shouldn't be thrown in and expected to start every game straight away and also Keane (despite his chequered history here) has had a genuinely good season and could probably claim to have overall been out best defender this year.
That being said, Keane had a pretty poor first half at Fulham and if you're picking players in form (which I'm not sure we always do), there's a good argument that Branthwaite should be starting tonight.
