2025/26 David Moyes

I see unfortunately too much at HD, and the team he starts with won't get the job done.

The good news is we are about were we should be which is great, but we haven't done it how you might expect. We left points on the table with Wolves, Leeds and Brighton all there for the taking. We need to start with intensity and show we can use the confidence gained from away performances to kick on at home.

we’re improving massively

and long may it continue

I’m pleased where we are in the table, comfortably away from relegation. My main complaint about Moyes, and other fanbases may feel the same about their manager, is seeing that we have the pieces to win but rely on standard and repetitive line ups.

We’re hyper-focused on our club and matchday set ups and subs and maybe this frustration is shared smoking other teams. But I feel like we unnecessarily put ourselves in poor position, fall behind early, and play catch up all game.

We saw the success during AFCON and through injuries. Players shouldn’t automatically get the nod every game just because they’re favoured. Set us up for each game and in-game scenario as if we’ve never seen the competition before. Make players earn time on the pitch.

Noticing that people who would love to scream and moan and complain here are moving on to other threads where they can scream and moan and complain about something else.

For example, the Thierno Barry thread.
Because they’re scurrying cockroaches who infest this forum and will continue to until the sound, normal blues converge together to CRUSH these cockroaches into bits, so they know their place.

Today has been a good day of fumeigation (sic) on here. We got them on the run. Now let’s finish the job.

I’ve done nothing but support him. But benching your best player to fit Keane in is inexcusable for me.
We’ll see if Keane is still getting starts when Branthwaite is fully fit.

We won today anyway. Didn’t notice any massive gaffes from Keane.

Tarkowski more at fault for the goal if you wanted to point fingers, though I’m not really a fan of that. Especially after good away win.

It's the quality of football and the negative tactics why I want rid of Moyes.

I don't really care that we are 8th. Fat Sam finished the season in 8th and rightfully got pumped at the end of the season. Moyes will be pumped this summer hopefully.

I'd let him see out his contract pretty much whatever happens. Even if it is just 2 seasons of mid table, I'm quite sure the team will be left in a much better place when he goes.

Would you say he should still be booted if we do get Europe? I think any manager who gets us back into Europe deserves to manage the European campaign the following season.
