Brentford at 65 need 4 points to go ahead of us (68) from the two games (65 +4 = 69). Newcastle need 6 (64 +6= 70). They are playing each other now, they both cannot get those required points.

Man, it’s a tough call. Might drop Tarkowski instead of Keane based on form. Or maybe Branthwaite does a Lescott and goes left back.

There would be a call to make to put Jake instead of Tarks too.

We have looked ropey to say the least since Keane has come back into the team, which is why I would pair Tarkowski and Branthwaite to start with. Ultimately we will need to phase him out, we'll never keep defenders like O'Brien and Branthwaite if we don't play them. We have a nucleus of a good young team that could stick around for a few years (fullbacks required in the summer of course), let's hope we don't give any of them a reason to leave.

Pretty much my view of Moyes too. And the bold, was pretty much my annoyances with Moyes Mark 1. But the improvement, in league position alone, is undeniable.

That away record is incredible 11 wins out of 22, not many teams can better that ! Just improve the home form starting Tuesday night blues, I'll be there.

I think (hope) we’ll see more of a return to that when Branthwaite is back in the team fully.

Keane and Tarkowski don’t have the legs to play as 2 of a 3. Hybrid or not.

It's not as polarised as that. You can enjoy today's win,be happy that we are 7th but still wonder why he stubbornly plays players out of position,and continues to pick players who aren't playing well. Given the number of members on the forum very few want to see him sacked.

Maybe he thinks that he can win games doing it his way.
