Yeah I noticed that but two of the teams below us ( Brentford v Newcastle) are playing each other right now so if my maths are correct only one of them can go ahead of us at max.

Not really. But clubs should be self sufficient. The crazy spending due to oligarchs and big business is partly why the game is such a mess nowadays.

While many were thrilled when Moshiri was sinking crazy sums into the club from dubious sources many were loving it without seeing the potential long-term effects.

Few gripes with Moysey, one being please play our players in their proper positions, we have a larger squad now that almost everyone is fit, make subs a bit earlier. But to be fair we have improved no end since Dyche.

Most clubs don’t have the depth to compete in the league cup and the league. When you get to the quarters on the superclubs bring their first teams to bear.

I think the League Cup should be some kind of under 21 tournament with maybe up to three seniors allowed or something.

Europe is different its big money and more prestige. The League Cup doesn’t generate good income for the club.

Either he plays the young players like Dibling & Aznou. Then they are being developed ready for next season.

Or he gets europe.

He's played some young players, he's not played others. I've reached the point where even though I'm frustrated with it, I think you probably need to point fingers at those two players

You miss the point. If the club gets good income from Europe it allows the club to invest more in the team and improve via legitimate means.
