Did you not hear Moyes’s press conference last week, saying he has the final say on players.
So he signed Geroge and not Wilson or Sterling in the real world.
The defence rests.

Thank god West Ham kept Wilson and soucek or they would now be running or maybe hobbling around in blue shirtsSo he signed Geroge and not Wilson or Sterling in the real world.

Evidently that is correct but we have a panel above DM - plus they have to get the nod from the owners as well ....So he signed Geroge and not Wilson or Sterling in the real world.

Honestly I think that points to Moyes not having full control on transfers. Both things can't be true that he doesn't want youngsters and has full control. What I mean, he’s a youngster that is probably way Down on Moyes’s list.
We know how he wants experience and ready made players. But you’ve got a very small pool to pick from if you just want prem experience and players over a certain age
People want younger, we bring in younger, they change to wanting older..George is a lot better than nothing
I reckon people will be really hoping we sign him on a contract in the summer

Doesn't look a bad team or age range.

What makes people think Moyes doesn't want youth anyway? He signed John Stones, for example. He won't sign players just because they are young though. He will want players that have a high ceiling that can improve the team over time. With young players you also have delayed gratification. When Dibling begins to improve and establish himself noone will care he took a while to get going.Honestly I think that points to Moyes not having full control on transfers. Both things can't be true that he doesn't want youngsters and has full control.
I remember one presser where he was talking about Dibling and Aznou being good long term buys for the club. I reckon he's bought into this as part of the reset. I genuinely think Moyes has the health of the club at heart and doesn't want to go down the road a string of other managers did by demanding their players now and then we end up with a seriously unbalanced overpaid squad.
I reckon, don't know ofc, that Moyes would love to be the one that got us back competing in a sustainable way. Bar the Jack Grealish loan, most of our players bought have 2 to 3 contracts in them. That's not a manager that doesn't like, or doesn't want to play younger players
RB Patterson - the four CBs have to win their places only 2 needed ....People want younger, we bring in younger, they change to wanting older..

Congrats Dave signed a player on loan in the last 6 hours.
Didn't he do well, folks.
And you've got melts in here demanding we finish over half of these teams because we spent money last summer.
