2025/26 David Moyes

Waiting til the 80th minute to introduce 3 subs is ridiculous management especially when we were down a goal. Im getting irked by the Moyesiah zealots , trying to discourage discourse about a very flawed manager. He needs to leave he is incapable of change continues persist with his favorites at the expense of a more balanced approach
I’ve been quite critical of him today, but to be fair to him, prior to their goal, we were the only team that looked like scoring in that second half and the subs were only 6 mins after they scored against the run of play.

We know what we're getting with him, probably the best man for the job last and this season.

It's fair to criticise his line ups (I saw someone post on X "the fume when he brings Keane back in and puts JOB at right back" and he was right).

Always behind him and enjoyed that goal as well as the progress this season, but long term? I don't think he's the answer.

And there's the Moyes effect right there. Of course, compared to what we've been through in recent seasons, a stress free season is great. But the football is turgid, and it won't be better next season. He was brought in to stabilise the club and he's done it, and I congratulate him for that. But the feel good factor of our new ground has been undermined by our turgid football. Our new gaff was and still is an opportunity to rebrand Everton, and Moyes ain't the man to bring that.
Exactly

Unfortunately it seems many fans are happy with mediocrity.

That's another gripe I have with his substitutions he never takes preemptive measures to manage a game if we're competitive and to offer a new element that could bolster our chances at winning it's usually a reaction to us conceding or relieving a starter due to fatigue

Yeah - context matters. And we looked worse after the subs, which some will sweep under the carpet. We had good control until they scored.
