2025/26 David Moyes

we don't need a total rebuild.
Pickford, Branthwaite, Garner, KDH, Ndiaye (all excellent or potentially excellent)
O'Brien, Tark, Gana, Dibling, Barry, Armstrong (good, with the potential to be very good)
Keane, Aznou, Alcaraz, Beto (good squad players)
Possibly Grealish too.
That's sixteen players.
There seem to be a lot of academy prospects coming through too. Notably Graham.
Throw in some quality full backs, maybe a new winger/striker.

We have a stadium that earns multiples of what Goodison could.

Moyes, to his credit, has brought stability,
My fear is that in the last few home games he was outsmarted by Andrews, Edwards, and Farke

I genuinely think Ancelotti may feel he has unfinished business here and we're in a farrr better position compared to the last time he was here.
Ancelotti doesn't do youth players (Gordon for example) He'd want to buy big name players regardless of age and saddle us with a crippling wage bill. Then he'll flounce off if things don't go to plan leaving us up the creek without a paddle whilst our sycophants wax lyrical about him calling him Don Carlo. I really don't see the appeal

Horses for courses. Team of superstars and Carlo’s your man!

Based on his work at Leverkusen, his renowned coaching skills which are universally rated by football experts and by the fact he has more ambition in his little toe than Mr Cautious Moyes who approaches every game like an underdog
Yet Moyes did very well against him with a less talented team. Just ran out of gas.

That’s the same mistake West Ham made though. Moyes told them to get McTominay and Maguire and instead they squandered fortunes on “project players.”

Funnily enough our best players this season are older players like Pickford, Grealish and KDH, who many advocated dropping for Alcaraz.
I'm not a fan of this "careful what you wish for" line of thinking pal.
