You can feel the hostility towards him slowly building. Before the end of the season they'll likely be a result or performance that properly turns the fanbase against him, tonight it felt very, very gnarly at times. That Barry goal has just about pulled it back for now (people are really behind the lad), but there's no question people are getting seriously P'd off now.
Shake hands and move on in the summer, he can go with head high and we can try to go down a new road as a team. If he hadn't already had a long spell at the club I think they'd be more trust and willingness to let this play out long-term, but we've already been down this exact road with this fella before. Tepid performances in-between good results that are largely down to our few quality players and not the tactics. No appetite for this at all.
