Why not? I felt we dropped it to adapt to life without Branthwaite. Now he’s back we can be more creative with our positioning.I wouldn’t mind if he did this. He’s not used Alcaraz behind Beto on the counter all season though so I doubt we’re about to bring it back now.
He could just just get it right from the start, right?
Tactics from 2004 ffs, cramming his favourites into starting line ups and putting players with no pace out wide (and on their weaker foot to boot). Ridiculous and it should be called out.
You can feel the hostility towards him slowly building. Before the end of the season they'll likely be a result or performance that properly turns the fanbase against him, tonight it felt very, very gnarly at times. That Barry goal has just about pulled it back for now (people are really behind the lad), but there's no question people are getting seriously P'd off now.
Shake hands and move on in the summer, he can go with head high and we can try to go down a new road as a team. If he hadn't already had a long spell at the club I think they'd be more trust and willingness to let this play out long-term, but we've already been down this exact road with this fella before. Tepid performances in-between good results that are largely down to our few quality players and not the tactics. No appetite for this at all.
We know he struggles when injuries and suspensions don't pick the team for himThe only saving grace is we have so many players coming back. No more excuses, though.
He should be sacked fir not having the gumption to coach a team how to retain and distribute the ball. There will come a point this season where he has to choose between building a future team around Branthwaite KDH Rohl Dibling, or sticking with Keane Gana McNeil and their ‘prem experience’. If he picks the latter he’ll be out of a job come the summer. He needs to be bold and pick the younger quicker more dynamic players.

Your a proper boreHe should be sacked fir not having the gumption to coach a team how to retain and distribute the ball.
Leeds were way better on the ball. FFS I have to check that wasn't Real Madrid in that first half playing through us with ease and us not finding a blue shirt all that half.
He's an appalling donkey of a manager. Just ' kin terrible.

Derby. They've been handing out wins to everyone this season but if we show up like we did at Anfield he's done.Tactics from 2004 ffs, cramming his favourites into starting line ups and putting players with no pace out wide (and on their weaker foot to boot). Ridiculous and it should be called out.

His changes were decisive and they worked, we looked so much better second half. But a manager chasing a win should surely have put Aznou on for Mykolenko who is never a wingback.
He should've gotten it spot on from the start then. The 3 at the back solved us getting more of the ball but we kept doing nothing with it until the end of the game regardless.Although an awful first half, tonight proved he’s willing to adapt the tactics and he got it spot on. Matched their formation and we began to win the battles/control the middle of the park.
