This is exactly it. Europe should NOT be out of the question this season. We have enough about the squad to achieve that. I'm not saying Europe or sack. I am saying we should be in the race for Europe until the last week. But the owners have to step up. Not spending this window is unacceptable - especially if they intend keeping the manager on in the summer. Back him or sack him.

Fairly good considering how much more value is in those squads and you've got people complaining we aren't getting enough out of this depleted one.

Why should we be though?

We spent the 13th highest amount in the league last window. 12 teams spent more than us. Shouldn't they be odds on to finish above us?

Credit where it’s due, he’s a master of getting results when we’re all expecting nothing from a game. A lot of us were very critical of Moyes and rightly so after playing 3 games at home in a week and not winning any of them. No need to turn this into a point scoring exercise
