2025/26 David Moyes

I’d be a fan boy of his to be honest mate.

I do however find the job conditions interesting, if that is the authority we want to give a manager - it’s curious to think who our next manager could be and certainly who woukd have the skill set to fulfill that remit.

I’d suggest many with those skills are few in the contemporary game, most are just coaches.
Glasner would like the set up we've got for transfers it would suit him. Big advantage in trying to get him to come here.

I'd be amazed if our owners are proactive enough to even be thinking of a new manager even if Glasner is an obvious candidate for the betterment of the club
We should be amazed if they aren't though. Very good managers, like Glasner, don't come available all the time. Let's hope Moyes stumbles through the second half of this season and forces their hand.

I think Moyes had TFG over a bit of a barrel, according to the bobble, he definitely would’ve have been there choice in the summer had dyche seen out last season. I think they will move away from a model where the manager wants/has full control

He’s there man alright, he is their pick, they intervened to appoint him.

However every manager has a shelf life with an owner - it may be he was brought in to bring stability, when that is achieved, agendas can change but that’s speculative.

I’m not quite sure the model will change myself, we’ve invested a lot in this structure.

Davey in my opinion with each passing month is loosing credibility in his position, like it or not (and I’m a huge fan), the longer he goes without signing a new a deal, the more credibility and authority he will loose. It’s not clever to allow a managers deal to run down - we’ve already seen this scenario play out with Dyche last year - his position became untenable.

Don’t believe the bobble, that’s up to you but I believe him.
Moyes was available, no compo, no fighting with another club for their manager , the knowledge of the prem of the club, he was a an easy appointment. I suppose we will see how much he’s their man if he gets a new deal.
