2025/26 David Moyes

Not sure if it’s been mentioned earlier in this thread but I think it’s Moyes big personal priority this season to get us into the conference league - which will give us the best chance of winning something next season
Was he worried if he changed it and we didn’t concede against wolves he’d be too close to actual UEFA qualification?

“Give your heads a wobble “

Had to laugh at that from Chris Beesley, not just the pure arrogance and contempt but the audacity to say it whilst having a similar style haircut to that of a ducks arse.
It grates on me how condescending the Echo journalists are towards us. The RS were absolutely rubbish for years but there were no articles telling them to "give their heads a wobble" and to be thankful for Roy Hodgson at the time. I don't know why any blue would read that rag.

No chance the bottom 3
Were the worst bottom 3 ever

Difference of opinion on this one. We've seen some relegation threatened sides at Everton down the years. Everton under Dyche by January last year is as bad as ive ever seen. As bad as the Gareth farrelly season.
I think we'd have been in the dog fight. At best few scrappy 1 nil wins rest of the season. At best.

I agree. Something has been off with the whole thing for years, club , media etc. I doubt you would get the whole truth anyway , too many snides for that.

It would be interesting to see their behaviour if widespread apathy happened, substantial lack of readership and engagement on social media, lack of podcast listeners etc.

Readership has been in decline for years and I doubt many Blues give them much attention. It's why they're all in on the kopite road show, draws more clicks. Sadly, genuine local media has been dead almost everywhere for years. Certainly outside of London anyway.

Just listening to a podcast, Everton focused, an they were talking about our lack of a striker and they were talking about how good Lukaku was for us and what we’d give for a 21 year Lukaku now. One of the contributors mentioned that in Lukaku’s last two seasons with Martinez we went at 1.2 points a games 91 from 75 games, year Moyes is on 60 from 40 games (1.5 per game) with Beto being the mainstay during that period.
