2025/26 David Moyes

I don’t think anyone in the fanbase has the mentality that losing is alright. We all want beautiful and exciting football. We post because we care. We watch because we care. But we have zero influence on who we buy and who we play. We can only watch it. The way to push back is boo, leave early, or not go. But because we care, we won’t do it. That doesn’t mean we’re complacent. Any one of us if given a chance to talk to the owners and Moyes would offer up changes. The only voice we have to change is our wallets and attendance. They won’t hear us in here or podcasts.

It's a business at the end of the day, but the way things are going can't see 54 000 lumping up their hard earned cash to watch this long term. Take note Texans.
Yup, sick of the usual ‘ambitious’ nonsense these owners harp on about. You’ve got them lying to our faces and then Moyes talking up teams like Brentford like they’re prime Brazil.

There’s no ambition at this club, why would you continue to pay into a club that persistently lets you down?

But oh no, you HAVE to go through a ceap period apparently. No success until everything is ‘sorted’ - whatever that means

you wanna go back to last year?
year before?

year before?

year before?

oh wait
No, Matty, I want us to move forward. That's literally my point. As it stands we've perhaps inched forward but we're out of the cups early like last year, and the year before, and the year before that. We're playing turgid football and are short of goals and excitement, like last year, and the year before, and the year before that. We're out of form and in the bottom half of the league again, like last year, and the year before, and the year before that. I really don't think we've made the progress that you seem to think we have.

Sick of listening to him, he makes Walter Smith sound positive.

When Moyes came in for Walter Smith it was a breath of fresh air.

He really was attacking early in his career but working for Kenwright destroyed that. If we had Moshiri in 2009 and Moyes as manager we would be in different times now.

For me Moyes gave up after that FA cup final but was one of the highest paid managers he towed the company line. He gave up and took the pay cheque.

I wasn't making a case for or against Moyes, I just wonder who out there would improve us and/or be available and willing to come. I mean, last summer Thomas Frank was highly regarded, now Spurs are apparently on the point of sacking him.
Every change of manager is a risk but retaining a manager that can't progress us may not be a risk but it feels like creeping death.

Not one of those three appears fit for purpose.

It's a tremendous failure by the club and the CEO who set up this new way of doing things.

People love to throw around net spend figures for last summer but the fact is what was signed was largely crap and KDH and Grealish don't outweigh their crapness either.

Who signed them?

His negativity in interviews over the last month has been ridiculous as well

He was great when he came in this time last year, and now he wants us all to accept garbage football and passive timid home losses.

I've honestly seen enough and I don't accept the manager trying to play everything down so much. I think he's done about as bad a job in the last month as you could imagine and it's resulted in another lost season.

They've been here 14 months now.
We're just an asset in their portfolio.
They know it's pointless trying to compete with the city's of the world ( (currently winning 10-1) so the roll out bull. Too many yank owners in the prem now and to me these still haven't shown any good intentions or vision of yet.
