2025/26 David Moyes

Why are the feckin' players ' nervous and anxious' ffs. They're playing, at home, against a team who have won one game, one game ! all season and has scored 13 goals. You're the manager, how about doing some managing of the resources you've got instead of whining away. Change your tactics, formation, anything ; the team is a reflection of him, and we're seeing the obvious result.

Straight into players missing and blaming the red card and nothing about him failing to set the team up to get a win.

Thomas Franck maybe available soon. Interesting to see what happens if he becomes available as I recall the rumour was he was the new owners preferred candidate if Dyche had seen out his contract.

Spurs are trying to go through as many managers as us. 🙂

He's beginning to really disappoint me despite the improvement on the last lad.
Final push over the edge will be if I see Travers rock up between the sticks Saturday
I was alright with the job he'd been doing but this last week is grating on me.

I still don't think anything but disastrous form bringing us towards 16th-17th is going to lead to him being sacked. He's just killing his chances of getting a contract extension.

I'd be very surprised to see the Friedkin's sack him mid season if we are still comfortably safe. They might do it in the summer if we finish 13th-14th but I don't see 11th or 12th being enough to do it.

Appointing him was the clearest statement they could make about their short term ambitions. Plenty of spoken about his glass ceiling but if he hits it I still think they'd be pleased with that accomplishment in two and a half years

Yes, looks like it maybe similar to Potter where success was as much down to the club structure as the manager. Maybe lessons there for us to learn.

Same as you

The last week has been really bad.

Also agree TFG won't be sacking him. They would have seen the last few league positions and be happy with the improvement. Might up the ante after another summer transfer spend though

I think it's time we made peace with mid table mediocrity even though Europe should be attainable this season. All but 3 teams are very inconsistent

I think we started well. We should have been 2 up despite not creating anything clear cut. We bottled a 1-0 lead as everyone could see coming from a mile out.

If Moyes was more proactive rather than reactive he'd be able to change those results but I don't see him changing that side of him anytime so it is what it is. A competent striker and a right back... Please

Thing is he wasn't even reactive yesterday. More inert than anything

I didn't want him back, I dont think he is what we need long term, but, I believe he was brought back by TFG, in much the same way as Ranieri was at Roma, to steady the ship. I think even his biggest critics would find it difficult to believe that he has not done so.

I think that at the end of the season we should be saying, thanks Davey, job done mate, now off you go and then bring in the manager that will take us forward. I just hope that we have identified that man and have already sounded him out.

We didn't start well. The goal was completely against the run of play. We only played well after we scored. They were the better side for the first 15 minutes and the whole of the second half.

Ah, I felt differently but fair enough. I thought we were mostly solid in the first half.

He lost his chance at a renewal. I said it before. He will drop a ton of points, figure things out by the end of the year and try to pull the wool over everyone's eyes with a good run after it is already too late and the damage has been done. It is hard to progress when you keep screwing up transfer windows and take too long to make obvious switches.

With the amount of money we spent it is very possible to turn it around quickly if you spend it wisely. We even got a freebie in Grealish who has proven to be very good. His signing will be a waste though if we accomplish nothing which is looking likely. His minutes could have been development for long term signings that we failed to make. Everton are just so meh. /shrug
