2025/26 David Moyes

I don't blame the officials tonight
Keane shouldn't be pulling his hair, dickish thing to do, and grealish should know better too

Overall officials are dirt but complain about them when denied clear pens instead of when they do their job

Moyes sh@t the bed tonight, not the refs fault at all imo
I do. Moyes is also to blame. I booed (in the comments) the starting lineup. (Tactics were bad too).

But I’m offering Moyes to make up for it by bashing the refs

I don't think the owners will see things the same way as the fans. They brought in the better version of Dyche and we're getting better version of Dyche results and league positions. This is a David Moyes team, playing David Moyes football and getting David Moyes results. They knew what they where getting with him. You can't tell me that they'll be shocked by this. If they are then they're far bigger idiots then I ever thought.

Which is our level
If Brentford can be in 5th place we should be aiming for that too.

Mid table is the most likely position with this squad but this club also doesn't have the right mentality to aim higher and push on.

These 2 home games were a big opportunity missed. The manager got it hopelessly wrong twice as well. There aren't many great teams this year.

And we also had a chance to be far better than we are with our summer recruitment.

Was mostly on board with him all season, but hes lost me after that sorry.

Not in the sense im saying sack him this second, but in the summer, he has to go.

He's getting tactically outwitted far too many times, the football is bland, boring, slow, aimless, lacking any form of creativity, he cannot seem to grasp how to get his team to be effectively creative consistently, strikers are isolated, wingers are isolated, he's playing mykolenko in a weird inverted role, and hes got o'brien playing at right back and just creating issues for us.

He just hasn't got it anymore, he's done okay results wise this season, but no different i'd expect from any bang average manager.

Everton need something fresh, new, ambitious and exicting, moyes is none of those.

Fantastic job when he came in, but thats all it should have been.

You look at teams in and around, and slightly above where we are, and theyre all playing nice football, this wolves side are as bad as any bad premier league team has been and he couldnt get our team doing anything.

Thanks Moyes, but this is not built to last, its built in the past.

Don't care about excuses. A draw at home against one of the worst Premier League sides ever, finishing with 9 men, and only holding onto said draw by the skin of our teeth because of a world class save in stoppage time would be a fireable offense at any club with the least modicum of self-respect. Not saying it has to be tomorrow, but there can be no coming back from this for him short of the most miraculous FA Cup winning run of all-time.

He’s really just Sean Dyche plus. Same lack of flexibility, dour tactics, refusal to change tactics or team selection. He’s steadied the ship and I’m glad not to be in a relegation fight for the first time in several seasons, but I’d love to have a manger who got us playing exciting football and making proactive decisions.

Lets see where we are in may .
Anywhere between 8th and 13th
Get a full side out we will pick up a good few points. When we dont we struggle.
Summer is over. You can't unring a bell.
