He could have bought himself some sympathy if he had switched to an actual right back early in the season when it was clear O'Brien didn't fit the mold there. As it stands, it's arrogance from the manager that prevents him from progressing at the club.

Thought he could get by without fixing the fullback positions in the summer and now he will just sit on his arse and blame the lack of players available. Just because there are holes in the squad doesn't mean there aren't things we can fix or improve. He just wants somebody to blame. He wants excuses.

I think he likes Jake at right back for his added height, I seem to recall he preferred Lescott to Baines for this very same reason

Not sure where your confidence comes from. Yes, not absurd to aim for top 10, but lets be realistic.... .....it is starting to turn very sour.....

Yeah we're a bit crap - no balance, no pace - we have charity cases upfront and I'm not going to dwell on Moyes.

The same was true the past 2 seasons and we earned the points for 12th and 13th - margins are slim, we're doing better than previous seasons and I think that trend will continue and we'll finish 8th-10th.

Margins slim though - but as I say, we're still right in the mix.

Overall officials are dirt but complain about them when denied clear pens instead of when they do their job

Didn't think we played that well in the 1st half to be honest mate. Thought we were slow and ponderous as usual. How many saves did Sar make. 1 I think.

I said 'reasonably' well and wasnt saying it was amazing. But we at least had players travelling forward with the ball and getting crosses in etc. None of it excuses the evening as a whole

He didn't make the subs when he should have. The players got frustrated, flustered and made stupid decisions which totally ballsed it up. Cock ups all round, starting with Moyes first.......

Barry and McNeill were terrible tonight. McNeil should never have been in the starting line up. It's crap for the players on the pitch having to work with him, and totally demoralising for better, hungrier players, who need developing and support, sat on the bench.

Thanks for last season and the bit of stability you have offered this season, Davey. But, as much as I want you to succeed, it ain't gonna happen.
