2025/26 David Moyes

He'll be gone at the end of 26-27 and nobody will miss him. Its a mark of frustrating he is that he can clearly improve the team so obviously while still leaving everyone so annoyed week after week. Obviously tonight wasn't all his fault, he can't help it that we have some utterly baines clowns playing for us, but JFC! Why does he always have to be so bloody negative!
That's another year wasted so.

He should be replaced on the final whistle of our FA Cup elimination. Sunday.

We played reasonably well first 45. What the hell does he say to them at HT to come out and play like that. No impetus to go and win the game and kill it off. Just sit there waiting for the inevitable. Its becoming a pattern and my patience is wearing thin

There’s no way he is still here next season, not a cat in hell’s chance. Look at our fans. It’s over for him, a matter of time now. Our fans decide the future of our managers, and they’ve firmly decided his right now.

He better not come out and try to blame the referee for that either. Deflect, deflect, deflect. Never his fault.
He didn't make the subs when he should have. The players got frustrated, flustered and made stupid decisions which totally ballsed it up. Cock ups all round, starting with Moyes first.......

Barry and McNeill were terrible tonight. McNeil should never have been in the starting line up. It's crap for the players on the pitch having to work with him, and totally demoralising for better, hungrier players, who need developing and support, sat on the bench.

Thanks for last season and the bit of stability you have offered this season, Davey. But, as much as I want you to succeed, it ain't gonna happen.

No more time for romance and jobs for the old boys, end of the season, it is his time to go........

he will be gone this summer, there’s not a chance he sees out his deal. How do you buy players in the summer fkr
A manager with a year left on his deal. Can’t do that make zero sense,
So
For that reason he has to go

The equaliser was coming, they were first to every ball, upped the tempo. Watching it in person it’s shocking how slow and much pace we lack, we give the opposition time to regroup constantly.

He just sat there when it was obvious what was going to happen.

The recruitment strategy needs a massive change because this is ridiculous how archaic we are, it’s like we play at 12 frames per second.

It says a lot that it suits him a lot more away from home and this sort of “underdog” mentality.

If he’s going to leave at the end of his contract then that recruitment and scouting network needs binning or revamping properly because it’s getting to a point where it feels like a conspiracy self sabotage.

The same criticism he had when he left us is still the same. He's slow to change, he sets a ceiling for himself and the team, he sits passively watching a team get overrun and does nothing, picks favourites and 'experience' no matter the quality of that experience.

We need better if we want to progress. He shouldn't last longer than the end of the season.
We were much better the first go around really though, and were stone broke. Different situation. Others managers could've done more with some of Moyes' old sides for sure, we kinda seen that when Martinez took over because it was very much still a bit of Moyes DNA.

Now though I do think he's doing the best with what he can, and really it's a bit shambolic for us as an established PL club to constantly name squads like this for example. I think a manager having to consistently name 2 sub keepers on a bench, along some academy players, is a failing of the club directly, not a manager. He arguably has about 13-15 players of an actual squad, and some of those we don't even like ourselves (fullbacks). It's not the easiest situation.

I think 18 months was his deal.

The club never published the duration - unlike for Dyche and Lampard.

Whatever we think, small margins and at one stage today we were 8th.

We'll get the results to finish top 10 this season, then hopefully the owners have a plan to invest in some full backs and pace, and in my opinion, a manager who can take us into a new era.

[edit] and please god an actual striker
This squad won't finish top 10. They need reinforcements now and the club don't sound like they plan to do anything.

We have the worst full backs in the league. You can't get top 10 when you are so poor in certain areas.
