I havent noticed him, not saying he isnt a good player but from all the football ive watched which i guess is just the same as you or anyone else i havent noticed a standout player.

I think Myko will get better a lot better under Moyes, Your right modern day FBs isnt just about defending (that part of his game i think is very good) he needs to add another dimension to his game (Attacking)

I can only see that improving with Baines as his coach, we are already seeing signs in that department.
I don't think he's brilliant defensively personally. He's dogged and decent one on one but positionally, decision making, and in the air he's not great. As I said, I think there's more to being a good defensive full back than just not being dribbled past. I don't think he's terrible, I'm not saying he needs to be punted or is the worst player ever to play the game, I just think he's a below average PL full back. Maybe he'll get better under Moyes, I'm not sure myself but it'd be great if he did.

Yeah, but what now?

'Stuck with Moyes'?
What are your ambitions for next season with Moyes?

What are your ambitions for next season with someone else say Iraola if we poached him?

Or Moyes gets us where next season that would make you happy?

With the greatest of respect normally when i watch football and players who stand out i remember their names.

Hahaha because i dont know who Kerkez is? Is he flavour of the month right now because Bournemouth are having a good 6 months.

He's made 52 PL appearances, is four years younger than Mykolenko, and assisted Brooks' goal against us last month. He isn't the flavor of the month.

Mate I agree with your takes on Dyche and Moyes but this one is way, way off. Kerkez is much better than Mykolenko.

Kerkez is very highly rated, and gave O'Brien his most torrid time in an Everton shirt.

Him and Robinson are the two that Liverpool are supposedly keeping tabs on to replace Robertson so I think that speaks for itself.

Bit off track anyway

Moyes should have made some earlier subs, but also he got the players bang up for it Saturday again. United were cowering. Thought he got it right again and targeted their weak points and their lack of confidence and cohesion.

Lindstrom sub was a shame. Maybe Alcaraz could have been a more energetic sub but he looked a bit lost out wide when he came on against Liverpool. With Patterson and Coleman injured too the only other player to keep the same shape was Young. Dixon too, but it seems he's not quite there yet

Results will determine how long Moyes stays in the job.

For the life of me I just can't grasp how Dave is so desperate to get rid of Moyes as soon as physically possible. But was determined for us to show loyalty to Dyche even when he was killing the fans and the club with his terrible brand of football losing games left right and centre and barely able to score a goal. Dave is such a strange poster at times and has this desperation to be proved right.

Moyes: mid table.

Iraola: mid table.

But Moyes will stay at that level and Iraola will learn about his new team and surroundings quick and there's a lot of headroom with him.

If Moyes gets us 9th-10th next season would you give him the season after.

For me that should be the minumum target next season (depending on investment in the squad in the summer)
