Its caught other teams out but a) we cant sustain that pace over 90 minutes and we've been pegged back twice because of it, and b) it wont take other teams long to figure out that's what Everton are doing and they'll by-pass midfield and the press and we'll be in trouble.

Bottom line is staying up, as you said before Moyes took the job.

Hes been night and day under Moyes for sure, I just feel like a modern Fullback needs to do more going forward in this era.

But its early days for sure, either way, I think we all agree that fullback is an area we need to be looking at come the Summer, but lets face it, there isnt a position we dont need to look at.

Wingers getting the better of him is a massively outdated way of looking at it to be honest. Hardly anyone plays old fashioned wingers who want to go on the outside all the time anymore, if you just judge a fullback on how many times a winger dribbles past them you're not getting anything like an accurate picture of what they can do. If you honestly think Mykolenko walks in ahead of Robinson and Kerkez you must be smoking some pretty decent stuff.

Im not looking at him as one who i dont want to see playing next season.

I know he needs be better going forward but his defensive ability imo isnt in doubt.
Maybe Moyes/Baines can add that attacking element to his game, if they do we will have very good player on our hands.

Myko is a better defender than Robinson but granted Robinson is better going forward.
Kerkez? Never heard of him in my life, who does he play for?

Well its not outdated their primary job is to get the better of the winger he is up against.

Btw you've named 2 hardly laughable is it.

Kerkez plays for Bournemouth. With the greatest of respect, it doesn't seem like you're in a great position to be saying he would walk into sides when you have evidently never seen them play!

With the greatest of respect normally when i watch football and players who stand out i remember their names.

Hahaha because i dont know who Kerkez is? Is he flavour of the month right now because Bournemouth are having a good 6 months.

No I'm not questioning your credentials as a football fan, just saying if you're specifically saying 'Mykolenko is a better left back than Bournemouth have got' I would expect you to know the name of the player you're talking about. I think if you asked neutral fans who they thought was better you'd probably find about 90% saying Kerkez, but yeah it's all just opinions.

I was referencing the Everton fans song about him used as a jibe to goad United fans.

I havent noticed him, not saying he isnt a good player but from all the football ive watched which i guess is just the same as you or anyone else i havent noticed a standout player.

I think Myko will get better a lot better under Moyes, Your right modern day FBs isnt just about defending (that part of his game i think is very good) he needs to add another dimension to his game (Attacking)

I can only see that improving with Baines as his coach, we are already seeing signs in that department.
