We're using a different yardstick to measure Moyes. He's the more accomplished manager of the two so he gets greater scrutiny.
Sorry Dave but this makes no sense?

How are we using a different yardstick, he has the same tools or actually less to do the same job?

What you mean is the standards have risen because one uses the tools and gets the best from them and the other couldn't open the toolbox.

Ive said all along this squad should be near the top of the bottom half 10-12th, his form right now is way beyond that

Yes, Moyes has done very well since coming in.
Look, he's here and he's done a reasonable job in the time here taking us to safety, but nowhere near as impressive as his supporters here would have you believe.

Because last minutes of a game is down to mental frailties of this on the pitch to see an easy win over the line. There was no time to act for a manager when it started to go wrong against B'mouth in the PL game here. That wasn't the case last saturday against United. It was obvious that the game had begun to turn - as Moyes admitted in post match comments - but he failed to get a sub on before the two United goals flew in.

It's not double standards at all.
Absolute twaddle, and total double standards but your good at that.

Forgive me if I dont wipe my memory bank clean and welcome the rat back into the fold - under any circumstances let alone a mixed bag of results

If anyone needed any more evidence that he's on a massive wind up

Nah it's a poor squad.

5 or 6 players who'd make it into a top half of the table team. Out of about 23 players that's terrible for a club of this importance.

The league is poor, the difference between 16th and about 9th is a manager who knows what hes doing (That's being proven right now) all the teams are much the same some stronger than others in certain areas.

Pickford
Ndayie
Branthwaite
Gana
Myko

Walk into any team in the bottom half even your Fulhams and Bournemouths who are in the top half

Moyes is getting Everton to press high up the pitch. Its caught other teams out but a) we cant sustain that pace over 90 minutes and we've been pegged back twice because of it, and b) it wont take other teams long to figure out that's what Everton are doing and they'll by-pass midfield and the press and we'll be in trouble.

This upturn is all about short term effects.
