It works both ways. It's probably his equivalent of a bit of cash-in-hand work on a building site to tide him over until he can get a real job, it'll keep the bailiffs from the door... His bird will be telling him 'you gotta do what ya gotta do, something better will come along soon enough'It's not the dream appointment of everyone of us
At what point are you going to start vociferously supporting our manager as you have been with Dyche?Kenny Moyes will be rubbing his hands...loads of contracts for him from Wor Davie.
Ker-ching. The stink of corruption back.
For the next five months I’ll settle with some goals, wins and no Doucoure in the squad leading to safety by April at the latest.Just a complete feeling of “flatness” with all this for me. Absolutely zero excitement about this supposed fresh new start at a new stadium with new owners. Seems we are just cursed to never shake off our horrific recent past. Let’s hope he keeps us safe and we kick on and that when he does reach his limits of what he can do, these new owners are more ambitious than the loser owner who kept him in situ here for 11 trophyless years before allowing him to run his contract down and then gave him a guard of honour as he jibbed us off.
That's a misreading of many people's reservations.Honestly don't understand the hatred at all. He transformed the club single handedly after the dark days, gave 10yrs of service and left for arguably the biggest job in the world at the time after a decade of having his hands tied by Bill the buffoon. As if anyone else here wouldn't have done the same. Of course he would have tried to take his best players, it's a business. Literally all managers do it.
He's an absolute garbage manager, and an utter loser. Our new owners had a chance to make a statement by getting in a manager that would give the entire club a boost but instead they went for this floppy cock of a manager.
Just utter blue tinted glass wearing brigade who think this is a good thing. Then i shouldn't be surprised as most of our fanbase think Moyes getting to a CL playoff is some sort of success.
looking forward to the absolutely awful football in the new stadium. Won't be long before BMD has the echos of booing ringing round.
If its a contract to 2027, then I think the only way Moyes is replaced is if we get relegatedOn Moyes, I've often said of his tenure here that if I could go back in time and be told the 11 years we had under him would I take it, I'd have said no.
I'd say the same now, I wouldn't sign up for another 11 years of what he delivered before.
Sure, it's better than now. A lot better.
But you've got to have some hope in football.
I've spent years preaching pragmatism and having to take our medicine - but all that was on knowing we had a new stadium coming, with new owners and new manager to give us a real jolt in the right direction from the summer. Better times were coming, we just had to get through.
For us to go back to Moyes on a 2.5 year contract, and heralding his 11 years of 'success' - if that's success, then what's the point?
I think we of all clubs can be a little entitled for once - and it feels like we've just kicked the can further down the road.
I just hope we have someone lined up in the summer who can unite the fans, and bring us some hope.
