David Moyes - all reaction here

He'll be there next season mate, utd have no football knowledge in the boardroom bar Ferguson and Charlton so he's safe as houses.

In the summer he'll do what he always does with big money and choice - buy badly - this gives a new excuse fest lasting till xmas (bedding in new players blah blah) then he'll get the boot.

Their share price tumbling off the back of them finishing outside of the European spots and their sponsors becoming edgy due to them playing like drains, will see him gone at the seasons end. Only a miracle in Munich could possibly save him now imo.

Always had a sneaky feeling Giggs would be in the frame, if he's got time like

Yeah, I wondered if Moyes would get swiftly sacked and Giggs made player-manager till the end of the season. While many people have said that there's no point replacing Moyes now, United are still in the Champions League and Giggs is really the only person left who has been with the team for pretty much the whole of the Ferguson era and knows how the place was run. Also, looks like the fans have really turned against not only Moyes but also Ferguson because of Moyes's appointment which means Ferguson may have a rough time in the boardroom.

And the fans who heckled them in the stadium presumably hadn't yet heard Moyes say this:

"It certainly felt both an undeniable truth and an unwise frankness when Moyes remarked that United are 'aspiring to be like City'."

Holy Pratfall! What a thing to say!

(Apologies if all this has been said already, but this is quite a damning record: http://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/fo...David-Moyes-must-leave-Manchester-United.html)

I chuckled at this line in that article "Fellaini, or "the Lampshade" as he is known by the crueller United fans."
