Ferguson deserves the stick. How on earth do you argue the case for a manager who's won nothing and proven himself to be tactically cowardly and naive over a decade at Everton to become the manager of the league champions and one of the elite clubs in world football?

Yes, it's petulant to want success all the time. But those fans have the perfect right to hold SAF's feet to the fire regardless of his own record as manager. This is the most disastrous appointment in memory with a top English club. It makes HK III and Kenny II look like masterstrokes.

Imagine being a Utd supporter now with the prospect that this clown is going to be given more time and a fortune 'to turn Utd into a top club again'. Kin ell, you'd be furious.

Wouldn't it be interesting to know what the plan was for United last night ?,seems to me they went out to try and stop city rather than go out to try and win the game,40 seconds in and they were onto plan B .It's a long long time,if ever since United came out at old Trafford looking not to lose like it appears they are trying to be doing this season.

We're all well aware of what Moyes is about, but I don't ever remember seeing him as totally lost as he appears to be now.At times under him we were gritty, tough, hard to break down, but you couldn't say that about United now.

Not any sympathy for United and their fanbase (sorry Nev) ,but DM did good work for the club and I do feel he's a better manager than this last 9 months have shown.all I can think is behind the scenes there's major doubts over his ability or/and future policy's.It kind of cemented it for me when we saw the pictures in the press after they we're spanked by Liverpool,Moyes and the players smiling and enjoying training together. Reckon that was organised by the powers within the club to show a united club, after all they had to invite the cameras in I'd imagine.

Whatever the future holds, they've fallen well behind this season, mid table team at best, that's not digging at them ,it just seems an honest assessment at where their at.

That's poor isn't it - really poor. They've been littered with success for over two decades, 2/3rds of a season where not much has gone right and they behave like petulant children. I know most only started supporting them because they were successful, but still, come on.

It's a guy who's out of his depth just doing his job wrong, no need to verbally abuse him and what not. treatment towards ferguson is horrible as well. he made that club like. i wonder how many of those fans would be supporting united right now if it weren't for fergie
Rubbish, it was a daft decision from the get go the mere fact Ferguson took the time to give a speech asking fans to support him tells you all you need to know. He knew it was a ludicrous gamble but hubris convinced him to ignore the patently obvious.

Utd fans have been duped by a man too arrogant to let Mourinho in they've stayed loyal for the best part of a season despite record breaking failure week on week and rightly they've had enough.

Caring for your club with a passion means you can't allow a couple of fellas to get away with cocking it up just to massage their egos.

He not going to make it to the goodison match.
He'll be there next season mate, utd have no football knowledge in the boardroom bar Ferguson and Charlton so he's safe as houses.

In the summer he'll do what he always does with big money and choice - buy badly - this gives a new excuse fest lasting till xmas (bedding in new players blah blah) then he'll get the boot.
