David Moyes - all reaction here

Still not sure he was the wrong appointment, but a combination of his known faults (ie: trying to buy players), the boardroom changes and betraying of his own way of working (tolerating jarg players in the team, showing weakness to the likes of RVP and Rooney) have probably done him in.

We will probably get to kill him off at Goodison.

His biggest mistake has been listening to his ego, his ego told him that he could "get by" with the current United squad and his ego made him only buy Fellaini in the summer when the squad needed MAJOR work.

Hes now lost the players and its only a matter of time until hes shown the door.

Was an impossible job, especially with Fergie's presence constantly being there.

Still think he should be given another season, considering it's still Fergies' (mostly jarg) team.

I think it's an impossible thing to tell if a manager can make the step up. And that makes us sound small, but to be fair the difference between stabilizing a team and winning trophies is clearly very large.

Moyes is probably the best manager in the world for a struggling team on a budget, but that clearly has not translated to being a good manager on the largest stage. And due to where we were when he took over, I think most of us (not all, well done to those ready to sack him) failed to see that he wasn't the right man to take a team into the next level.

Hopefully we never fall far enough for that to happen again.

please keep him until the end of the season, at least till the goodison game, a new manager will possibly pip us to europe. doing the double over him would be great.

i never once thought he'd be cut out for the job mate - no surprise that liverpool have already done the double over him because for some reason he's always [Poor language removed] scared of him and hardly ever ralies a team up to put a good performance in against them.

regardless of that, he can't hack it either under pressure especially in the big games when it matters. his record with us away proved that and his record this season vs the other top 9 illustrates how terrible he is at it. he seems to relish being away from OT this season, he had a great home record with us, but he seems to crack where the attendance is twice as much at OT.

i'm just glad he isn't here anymore, any manager in the world would have struggled to win anything here, but at least there are many out there who have the mentality to do it.

this as well, well it would have been very very tough for anybody for sure

Well the fella you should have gone for is currently 2 up against Galatasaray.

But fair play. You have supported him, but the faults we knew about have now been seen by a much wider audience. That isnt to say he doesnt have talent. But what he is good at is not needed at OT.

It was when Fergie first went there mind you.
