David Moyes - all reaction here

I bet Brent cant believe his luck how many teams refuse to learn the staggeringly obvious lesson on trying to commit against them. Villa showed them a mirror image and Brent didn't know WTF to do about it.

If all the teams they played so far since January had played them like Villa, sure they'd have suffered the penalties and danger of whipped in free kicks you point to, but I cant believe they'd have the points total they have now. I said it before and I'll say it again: it's a system that just cant be sustained. Liverpool will have to evolve a plan B for the future because eventually even stubborn PL managers with more ego than sense will act to snuff their threat out.

I agree, I think he got lucky with this supposed new 'style' as it's not what he was preaching for his first year or so there. It's basically get it forward as quick as you like & they're benefitting from teams showing them a lack of respect I suppose, as they're not making an allowance for this simple strategy and being undone. That won't last indefinitely and there'll be a few 'Routemasters' for them to navigate past in the coming weeks I'm sure.

I'm with you, I think the man's a total fraud and this will be exposed when he's actually got to make meaningful changes to their current 'style'.

what is this on about/. how are united not going to win a title for a decade?

get rid of moyes and they're already back there in the top 4, probably challenging the title as well. they've spent £60m odd this season on just two players, they have plenty of money to make a recovery next season with a good manager.

10 years ffs?

That's quite the typical Man United fan thought process. Loads of them absolutely flapping it and going into meltdown after one poor season, and yet they're still in contention for a top 5/6 finish.

The overreaction is baffling. You were spoiled rotten for 20 years, and now it's panic stations already. Whoppers.

The fact is if Arsenal hadn't have messed around in the summer and gone full hog for rat face. Liverpool would be mid table and tranny shagger would be out of a job

From Red Cafe about Moyes..

That's what I imagine is his biggest problem with giving players any confidence. He's just [Poor language removed] at talking. I bet he tells his wife she's ok and her new haircut is a little bit shorter. Dinner was edible, hopefully it will be again tomorrow. And he might take her to Barbados on holiday, but not this year, and they'll have to wait until the summer holidays which will be too busy, so maybe Butlins. Etc.

:)

When they play CL footy next season, I'd imagine the Italian and Spanish teams rubbing their hands setting up against them. They'll have Sturridge and Suarez well boxed off. It'll be carnage. If Suarez stays with them like.

If i was a Utd fan id want him gone, call it lesson learnt, the thing with him is he has no style, philosophy, hes tactically inept, hasnt got the positivety and outlook for a club like utd, the frauds been found out.

The choice they have is do they pay him of or be foolish enough to give him the 100-150 mil transfer budget to squander in the summer
A United fan I work with was backing him to the hilt before xmas, saying he needed time as they were in transition, he was wavering a bit a couple of weeks ago. He phoned me today for a 15 minute rant, using the words "useless c**t" at least 20 times amongst other expletives. As I regard myself as a compassionate man, I obviously laughed at him.

They'll be doing well if a decade is all it takes.

It is all about the big mo.....momentum.

And once it is lost, it is the devil's own job regaining it.

When they won the League in 1967 and European Cup in 1968......or when Liverpool won the old 1st Division in 1990, people would have laughed at anyone suggesting they wouldn't win a Title for ten years.

As it happen if was 26 years before United won it again....the RS are still waiting almost a quarter century later.

Once the spell is broken the fear factor goes....under Fergie for 20 years most teams were beat before they took to the OT pitch.

They aren't now.

And the further they fall behind Chelsea and Citeh then the quality of player they will need to regain the crown becomes more elusive, especially if United face a couple seasons out the CL.

No, they might well win it again within a few years but to suggest it will rake at least ten years isn't fanciful in the least.

yeah, but back in those days teams weren't able to just throw millions and millions all over the shop to fix a problem, different times now.

they're still one of the biggest teams in the world and will have income all over the shop to put into the playing squad. get a good manager in with a few good signings and they'll be back up there imo. they do have an ageing squad though.

I really think that if they'll bottle that Olympiacos game he'll get axed....if not... theres something strange going on.....

...they are protecting SAFs reputation imo

Naive post.

United are a massive worldwide entity, they will not allow a decade without a premier league title. They will spend money until they're back at the top.

United chose a manager to keep things the same and the same for the long term; nothing radical or different to the United formula which was wrong. We could have easily appointed Mackay or Freedman to go down that route but Kenwright, fair play to him, saw that a rejuvenation and a change was needed to brighten up the club after a few years of stagnation. United should have changed it up or got someone with an inside knowledge of the club rather than moyes IMO

If he was sacked does anyone think he will secure another job within the next 6 months?

I personally think his reputation has been badly hit that even club like Palace or Hull will not hire him, he might have to go to a championship club to rebuild his confidence and reputation.
...........................................................................

"Don't be ridiculous. He'd walk back into a mid-table side."
...........................................................................

Erm, sorry to point this out but he's already at a mid table club ffs.........
