David Moyes - all reaction here

I just dont think they're playing for him.

Let's have it right: there's blood in the water and no United player is going to lift a hand to stop Moyes from being taken down. If I was Rooney with that personal history and animosity I'd be quietly satisfied now. He's played his best in the first half of the season and given Moyes a platform if he could prove himself a manager of any note. He isn't though and he failed to utilise a talent like Wayne's. In good conscience Rooney will be waving Moyes off and settling down to life under a top class coach next season. Biggest contract in British football safely secured and more honours with United to come.

@davek van persie certainly wasnt1 lol i suspect they are happy signing new contracts cos they know he wont be around for long and if they get a decent manager in they will be back in champs league

You just know someone will come in after Moyes and take these to the top of the table again...making Moyes look like a bigger chump than he already does.

I think politically he did everything you could do wrong going into a new and massive club...although ultimately it's come down to the obvious fact he's a neanderthal in football terms. I have no idea where he'll end up next. I cant see any decent PL team wanting him though. He's toxic.

not a single player there will be bothered anymore about this season. The last man won them the league, this one clearly isnt as good.

It would not surprise me if at some point this season they all met up and basically went, sod it, lets write the season off and hope for a new manager come July.

Ferguson didn't have the best starts when the took over, but the board stuck with him and it turned out pretty well. Who's to say the same couldn't happen....aw, who the hell am I trying to kid?

Be amazed if anyone could turn Utd around quickly with the personnel to hand. Massive rebuilding job - it's true there's be a line a mile long to take over, but I reckon the real managerial elite will be giving it a subtle bodyswerve. You're looking at some barren years on the cv before that squad is challenging for honours - most big time Charlie managers don't normally go in for that sort of spade work.

I disagree, they still have most of the components of championship winning side (its only really one midfielder of real quality and one or two centre backs that they genuinely lack) - the problem is Moyes, or rather the squad's obvious lack of respect for him.

on paper their 1st team is still better than ours -

de gea>howard
coleman>rafael
baines>evra
jags>vidic
distin>smalling
carrick>barry
fellaini=mccarthy
mata>pienaar
Januzaj=mirallas
rooney>barkley
van persie>lukaku

results are down to the manager

Agreed, they've needed a leader for years since Keane left. Ferdinand has never really been up to it and he's goosed now anyway. They need full backs of world class quality too. They won't be far off. Certainly CL spot contenders still if they get the right manager in.
