Thanks for saving me the bother of replying to that post DT. The feller is desperate to write of Gibbo before he kicks a ball for us, which is kopite behaviour. Here's hoping he gets a bit of confidence and makes the squad for the Euros. Most people are getting behind him now which is great.

You are a prize bell. Someone disagrees with you so they are a kopite? It saddens me that your expectations of this club have sunk so low that you are happy with Arteta out for £10M and Gibson in for £500K, that strikes me as a kopite attitude (see what I did there?). It seems to me that you and DT are more interested in getting players ready for the euro's with Ireland than you are about this club, so don't call me a kopite for me it's always Everton first. How about you?
 
Well I think Rodwell should be worried About his place in the team. If Barkley and/or Osman take the ACM role playing off a loan striker, that leaves 3 Fellani, Rodwell and Gibson fighting for 2 possistions.
 
This whole deal of calling people Kopites is ridiculous.

Behaving in a paranoid, ridiculous way while acting like everyone's against you and constantly saying 'THIS IS OUR YEAR LAD OUR YEAR THE MISSING PIECE OF THE JIGSAW' is being a Kopite.

Saying you don't rate Darron Gibson is not.

i'm Irish and didn't want Gibson in as i dont think he's good enough to play for us full stop, however as DT pointed out he is now an Everton player, so now that we've all vented our anger about him coming here its time to draw a line under it and get behind the lad
 
Seems like a decent signing for 500k, not seen him do much at United but he has experience playing with top class players and he has champions league experience.

Not sure if it's just me but i think he may have asked in his contract to be guaranteed a certain number of games considering he had contract problems in the summer with his proposed move to Sunderland. (may have been down to wages). Even if he doesn't have the clause we may be paying him high wages which could see him playing a fair bit.

-The Guardian are reporting £500k fee. I'm happy with that, especially when you compare it to how much we were going to pay for the young Irish striker.
-Rooney, Cahill and Neville persuaded him to sign.
-Everton showed interest a month ago.
-His goalscoring record is actually better than his Wikipedia listing suggests: 3 in 14 league starts for United, 2 in 6 FA Cup starts, 3 in 10 Carling Cup starts and 2 in 7 starts in other competitions.
-Perhaps he's seen as Cahill's eventual successor?
