Daily Mail rag puts the boot into Martinez, the night before the derby

According to that article there's about 50 insiders at the club there. That basically leaves on Martinez himself and Hibbert who haven't been slagging us off. What a tit to report that nonsense, if I was Martinez I would ban the [Poor language removed] stirring bellend so none of his bellwhiffery comes direct from him being at press conferences. Tit.

Right back to work!

There's no doubt this has been orchestrated by Donachie. A person probably due to his long service and contacts at the club thought he was unsackable. Well his record with Moyes was crap, it was crap with Martinez and I'm glad to see the back of him. Everything seemed to go pair shaped around the time of his sacking and now things look better he's making another attempt. Well the Beatles made the white album at each others throats, we just need to channel that anger at the RS.

You're a kopitetroll who can't wait for Everton to lose tonight so you can come on here and troll an Everton forum.

Even more so than normal.

#plotters #spinners #[Poor language removed] #trolls.

Surprised you're not on your local Norwich City forums mate.

Lets get back to discussing the topic at hand.

The media are a disgrace.

I don't troll other clubs forums.

If we lose tonight how many times will you call Everton fans plotters? More or less than if we win?

Typical load of garbage from unnamed 'qualified observers' designed to destabilise the club, the night before the derby.

All fits into the media-designated 'agenda' that tomorrow has nothing to do with Everton.

Just a load of bollox if you ask me. Yes, losing Steve Tashjian was a big loss I think as we haven't looked as fit this season but he left to take up a role in his homeland, there's nothing you can do about that.

Then the bit in the story were it says the players wanted Martinez to be more strict etc and when he as them put a shift in over in Qatar and some of the players moan, it doesn't make sense!

And his sessions are "boring". That's funny dos last season the players said things was great in training, I even remember Baines at one point saying the sessions were great and when the manager thought the players was learning too quickly, he'd throw something new in there to keep them on there toes!

All it is is second season syndrome, a few bad defeats have knocked confidence and performances have been crap but in time we'll be fine!

That is one of the worst articles I've ever read - not for the subject matter, but because of the leaps of faith in concluding definitively certain things and having no sources to name whatsoever for the articles input. Not only that, I genuinely cannot ascertain what the actual point of the article is - it just reads like someone wanting to bad-mouth Everton and randomly saying things in the hope he can achieve that goal.

Sports journalism is utterly in the pan.

Maybe the bulk of tabloid "stories" are, as you frequently say WAFFLE (usually of course when Rodgers related), but there are genuinely good football journalists, not all with the broadsheets, who raise the bar...people like John Keith.... McIlvanny, Glanville etc. This article is exaggerated garbage which ordinarily wouldn't cause a flutter..... its the timing of it that is the gist of the real beef with Lawton.
