I cycled the Grossglockner High Alpine Road the other day. Pretty tough climb. 19km at 9%
Awesome stuff. That's on my 'to ride' list. Quite pretty I hear?

Yay, nice scenic pictures of France to act as visual wallpaper...with a sprint and the odd crash at the endLying on the couch watching the Tour de France.

It was pretty cloudy unfortunately, so I only got glimpses of the mountains when the clouds broke. I was in the area for a week though and that part of the world is stunning. The climb is a brute, 19km at 9% but the last 13km is at almost 10% and the final 1.5km to Edelweißspitze (200m higher than the col) is cobbled and at over 11%.
I’d love to scale you Bruce xImpressive, congrats for scaling it.
Was planning to put some money on Pinot each way. He was 20-1 this morning and I waited as I assumed his odds would drift after today. He's 14s now which doesn't look great value any more. All aboard the Thibaut Pinot love train
PS: Did I mention I'm going to the final 2 Alp stages. You might hear more about that...
Should we also ban team trains, because I guarantee the time gained by drafting on mountain stages are worth a lot more than the seconds gained yesterday? The team time trial in the tour de France should be scrapped I think. It Is ultimately an individual competition but the team trial plays a major part in the overall result
