I have submitted complaints to the BBC before about specific content and was pleasantly surprised with their response and detailed explanation. It is an institution that can’t please everyone (although it ties itself in knots trying to) and I certainly have issue with a lot of the content but is still an important institution and is generally my first point of call for information on a specific event as they will generally try to avoid assumptions and await full confirmation on matters.
The filters in question at the moment are yours mate...and i don`t mean the ones you`re not putting in those doobies you ain`t smokin`. - Now that you`ve brought into play your inner "spelling/grammar Nazi" we need to exorcise this beast, so what did you think you saw or herd when you didn`t here what you thought you had over hear....or was it there? - Are you confused? Are you seeing words that are not there? Stop smoking Crack then.

I don’t think that’s how it will work for many sadly. That would require some serious critical retrospection which a lot of people duped by right wing narratives seem to lack the capacity to do so. Most people end up further down the rabbit hole as this is an easier route to take than to think they may be wrong.
