Given the way Koeman plays a lot of the time, safety first, a bit like Moyes, it doesn't surpirse me that he would rather play a journeyman 27 year old right back than risk playing a young player. I suppose it depends what style we want to play. Baines and Coleman were our best creative outlet at one time, but if Koeman sees it as a defender's job to be positionally aware and stop the opposition, and expects only the front 4 players to do the creativity then this lad will be ok. It's a return to the Tony Hibbert days though.

Spot on we now have the Dutch ginger version of Moyes - reading BK - RK has all the money he needs for big money players - next day this player arrives free and a 3rd choice Southampton right back??????????
