Other than obvious cover, the upside is that if we sell him next summer (after he hopefully has a half reasonable season) we might get £5m for him and that's +£5m in the eyes of the STCC and FFP.

Aye, but that'll bugger up our net spend, and whatever shall we do then? I'm off to hyperventilate in a darkened room with no Wifi.

Will people never learn ?
They moaned when we signed Coleman, they moaned when we signed Gueye and so many others besides.

Let's just trust the managers judgement and give the player a chance.

He may not get a game ahead of Kenny, if Kenny is good enough, but we could not go into the season with two novice right fullbacks in Holgate and Kenny.
And other people were over the moon when we signed Nyarko, Alexandersson and Kroldrup. Maybe we shouldn't comment on any signing under any circumstances. This fan's forum would be boss if it wasn't for all the damned opinions.

Absolute piss rubbish piss crap I am not happy with this because I am an over opinionated tit who just reads football news all day this is an utter joke get out of my great club you crap piss rubbish piece of piss.

He's back up. Change your bed sheets.

I changed my bed sheets last night funnily enough. Took me ages whilst my missus seems to be very quick at doing them. She must have had a lot more practice than me for some reason :(

I'm happy, Koeman obviously has faith in him and he can play a few positions, and he is a free transfer. We need a bigger squad and he will add experience.

Three year deal purely as 'hopefully' third string seems a bit long like, oh well, hopefully Kenny makes the spot his own until Coleman is back and we never see him
