Confirmed Signing Cuco Martina

Wouldn't even know him if he walked past me in the street, so that makes me think he must be garbage. Filed under Hibbert mk2.

It is impossible for me to believe that if Kenny starts, none of Holgate, Connolly or Browning can deputise for him.

Cuco is so so so bad

Yip they're all better option than him. The way people are goin on Kenny would have to play every game next season

...as far as I can see, it's only the Times running with the Martina story. Apparently his current deal expires this weekend so there might be something in it or there might not. I'm not overly bothered one way or the other, although I hope any signing does not distract from Kenny's chances.

I think we would, we need a back up RB.

Hes a utility player, can play RB, RM, CB, DM, hes somebody thats happy to sit on the bench earn his dollar and be ready when called upon.

Its a no brainer to me.

Yeah I agreed we needed one, I'm still a bit gutted Kenny didn't get the spot for the season when Coleman got injured. Could have been used as a barometer as to if we actually needed Martina.

The fact he didn't play him suggests Coleman's injury didn't make much of a difference.

The last few months of last season was all about limping towards the end and waiting for the window.

Holgate was given a chance to step in and wasnt really the solution.

I think the fact that he had to play Davies there made his mind up regarding getting another RB in.

With regards Kenny, maybe he didnt wanna take the lad away from the U23s, allow him to go away with England and try and make his mark in pre-season.

Kenny has looked good, but who knows how he performs in training against "better" players.

Exactly, we had nothing to play for, should have given Kenny a chance imo, then again, the u23s needed their captain for the title run in

Maybe Unsy asked him to hold off on the captain even though he pushes for his lads to get opportunites. However it happened it worked out anyway, best youth team in England :)

Why are we signing martina?

Coleman Holgate and Kenny all better than him.

Surely he can't be better than Connolly? Even browning? Worries me if that's the case

We never learn from our mistakes. Once again say hello to the right back steklenberg who will cost us again and again. See this post in may 2018

Why are you asking? You have obviously seen enough of him to know that he is going to "cost us again and again"

I'm amazed that so many posters have watched enough of Cuco Martina to dismiss him as crap. Are people honestly saying that they have watched him over a period of time and seen enough of him to justify that opinion ?
I'll be honest, I had never heard of him and I don't recall ever watching him once, let alone on enough occasions to form such a strong opinion.
I would be surprised if you have seen more of him than Koeman, who obviously feels that he is worthy of a place in the squad.

Said it numerous times and never been wrong. I wish I would be but this will be another failure. If you rate him you probably don't watch football
