haha nice one you are clearly on the mooch for a wind upThere are all sorts of reasons why a journeyman footballer might prefer Reading to Everton...closer to home(Southampton) ...etc.

If he's dragging his heels bin him off. We need to move more quickly. Tell him he's got 48 hours max to make a decision. He's got an opportunity to play for Everton. I don't know who the other clubs are, but I do know he's just been released from Southampton. I can almost certainly say the other clubs won't be as big as us.How do you know it's us dragging our heels mate? Could be the player angling for an offer from a team that want him in the first 11? Might be he doesn't want to move to Liverpool area for whatever reason?
Seems a strong reaction given you freely admit you don't know what is going on, is all I'm saying. You are, of course, welcome to your opinion![]()

But yes, everyone is entitled to their opinion. You make a fair point.
Good point. Zabaletta would be an infinitely better option to Martina. But because he's a much better player he would want higher wages. Everton won't pay because we don't seem to want to move the club on.Absolutely nothing wrong with having an opinion about the player, and you're fully entitled to your opinion, which has some merit, but Koeman must feel differently. Personally, even at his age, I would have gone for Zabaletta...a veteran who can still be very useful. I notice that West Ham have gone for him despite having signed Byram(?) last season. I seem to remember Hibbert playing well as a stop gay centre back a couple of times, and as for 'letting us down'...Hibbert was an excellent old school tackler but was not too good going forward, so you're not really comparing like with like comparing him with Coleman. From the beginning to the end of Hibberts career 'the game changed'.
i would rather see all of our U23's given a go than suffer dross like cuca and gylffiWhether you like martina or not, his signing is going to stall the progress of Kenny. We can easily cope to the new year rotating holgate and Kenny until Coleman is back playing. Signing martina makes no sense, as he's no better than what is already at the club. Surely you only bring in players that enhance the team?
He's already gone there hasn't he? Announced earlier today.Good point. Zabaletta would be an infinitely better option to Martina. But because he's a much better player he would want higher wages. Everton won't pay because we don't seem to want to move the club on.
We all have a good laugh at west ham, at times with good reason, but if they actually get zabaletta they've shown far bigger ambition than Everton.
Wrangling over wages presumeably. Let's hope we don't miss a golden opportunity because of those STCC rules.Anyone know what the delay is signing this Free Agent who couldnt get a game for Southampton? Did he have a Locker?
This post inspired me to listen to REM's Hairshirt. A very underrated song of theirs for me.
Which album is that on?
Struggled to even make the bench at Southampton. They then release him..
Alarm bells.. not good enough!!
Oh up pop Everton lets have him. Ambition = none existent
