Dani Alves is a cheating, diving tosser, I struggle to think of a player who hasn't played for the RS who I dislike more, in fact he is in many ways the total epitome of a kopite. I pray to God we go nowhere near him.

This is the kind of attitude which has held us back for over two decades. Fantastic player who would improve our right hand side by an immeasurable distance but he dives so we don't want him. Barkley has been booked for diving more than once in his career, so what?

He can run with the ball

The only thing I can think of is that Ronny maybe fancies him as a wingback in a 5 where his lack of actual defending isnt an issue, as for crossing, if we retain Lukaku and purchase Rooney, crosses into the box are useless.

Being able to cross a ball is clearly not a criteria for playing for Everton. In fact he'll fit right into the present full back company of Leighton used to be boss but now sand wedge everything Baines, Mason what's a cross Holgate, and Seamus don't look just shovel it in Coleman.

TBH I don't mind this type of player for the bodies needed for Europa. Koeman trusts him, he's happy being back up, we're getting a solid utility player in early without using up any of the transfer budget. Can't see the downside. Obviously if the top players don't arrive in the window then this will get painted in a different light.

This signing does have the whiff of Antonin Alcoraz about it. Hopefully he'll be better than that.

Much rather give Kenny some game time first to see if he is good enough. The signing of a player of such limited ability as this doesn't bode well for Kenny, or any others who can play right back in the youth set up for next season.

It does smell massively of Alcaraz as mentioned above.

I've not seen this lad play tbh, but he hardly sounds like a World beater. However, Alonso raised eyebrows when Chelsea signed him, after he'd flopped at Bolton and Sunderland, but he's been great this season, so I'll reserve judgement.
