If only... nowhere near being able to pitch for that kind of player yet - even at his age!

Regardless of us having more in the pot - there must be a budget. Not a position we need to invest heavily in at the expense of another area of the team, and like most on here, I would prefer to see Kenny or Connolly given the chance, but I guess from RKs perspective he is looking for experienced cover in the 27/28 age bracket for a season that we begin in 4 competitions and he is someone he has worked with before and is on a free.

Not gonna judge the lad before he has kicked a ball for us... I suspect some fumed at a £60k more expensive unknown right back from a small Irish club a while back and he didn't turn out to be too bad.
