Vlasic is an odd one. I think he's fallen through the cracks a bit. Unsworth clearly junked out Koeman's signings partly due to not knowing them and partly to make an example. I also think he's best as a number 10 where we are already over loaded.
I suspect Unsworth will integrate him quite soon or the new manager will give him some game time. I can't hand on heart say he deserves to start ahead of Lookman though.

Id play him ahead of lennon...let the opposition worry about our attackers.
 
Vlasic has looked exciting and works hard,but there is no getting away from it, everytime the lad gives the ball away or switches off for a second it has cost us a goal.
 
Really don't know how Sniderlin is getting a game and Vlasic can't even get on the bench, its madness.
Which of the two has displayed a better attitude and played the better football?
MS has contributed nothing at all at EFC this season.
How can we win games with seven defensive minded players on the pitch(inc Pickford), no wonder we lack numbers in the opposition box when we get forward.Just don't understand why we persist with the 2 def mids, it didn't work for Martinez or Koeman as we still look vulnerable with them in the team anyway.

They play different positions though don't they? They have completely different profiles. Schneiderlin is an under performing experienced player, while Vlasic is an over performing young player. Schneiderlin also give us a bit of extra heigh that's been missing.

You might disagree with the reasoning but there is a reasoning that exists.

Do you think so mate? I'm not so sure, I think we are still lacking in 3 or 4 areas. I like the look of Palace to be honest. I never thought I'd say it but I think Hodgson is the perfect manager, have given you a bit or structure and allowed your better players to step up. Townsend and Zaha are a good pairing up front.

You have a point that they are different types of player, but how does MS get in the team with his can't be a$$$d attitude and poor displays.
