If that’s what you mean, mate. 😜

Ok, so put a number on it. Two more years? Three? And what would success look like after that time period? Cup wins? Europa League qualification? Champions League qualification?

I'm genuinely not being snippy, I just want to know what this patience is supposed to result in, and when.
I don't have the answers I'm afraid mate. I just currently see an improvement from last season. Hopefully we'll add some decent faces again this summer. Then who knows? But I am more speaking about those demanding European football this season. Apart from a handful of seasons we've been crap for decades so I guess I have low expectations so I'm less disappointed

Maybe I'm watching football for the wrong reasons, but I enjoyed watching that game. Frustrated we couldn't see it out but I can't think of too many games I've enjoyed over the last few years.

I'd love to win the league (or any trophy, tbh), I want us to be better, I'm not sure Moyes can get us there but surely some of the rhetoric here is a bit hyperbolic.
I agree but I'm more irritated by this result than the City game

We had more than enough chances to win this game, but KD-H seemed to have picked up Illy's poor finishing from Monday.

Then we threw the game away

D- Hall easy player of the season? Having a laugh there Rita not over James Garner. kDH had a good spell of five games in the middle of the season but has plenty of indifferent games throughout the season.
Agree, Garner all day long

Makes a nice change that it's not Pickford. But he's been great too

I only caught the game from about 60 minutes onward, but we could not string three passes together at a time. We put hardly any pressure on them when they had the ball and ket them pass it around at their leisure (sometimes stringing together 16-17 passes). Our game plan seemed to be to desperately hope that we could hold on to a one goal lead. It came as no surprise when we didn't.

I don't actually feel like European football is the be all and end all although if we get it then I'd let him see out his contract.

I just don't really see that we've played much better football than he got us playing last year once he'd come in. If anything I feel like we've got more points than our performances have merited. Palace and Fulham at home were absolute robberies if we're honest. That's just off the top of my head, there may be others. I can think of (m)any games where I feel like we've been robbed in the same way although I could be wrong.

My biggest issue is the negative, slow style of play, lack of tactical flexibility and the misuse of younger players. Maybe he can change but I don't see much to suggest it's likely.

Then you can't really criticize those that have run out of patience. If you can't define what success is, or when we should be achieving it then it's just a blank cheque to never do anything for anyone running the club (owners or managers). It can't just always be on the never never.

I think it's more the knee jerk reactions. A month ago people were talking about champions league. Now the same group of players are useless and the manager is crap. I dunno mate. Just my own feelings. Not saying I'm right

We genuinely had an opportunity for European qualification. Six weeks ago we were three points off CL qualification, fast forward five games and we're ten points off without a win in that time despite games against modest opposition (Man City excluded, of course). It's human nature to be disappointed with that. I think it's a little odd that you're not that bothered.

I am disappointed mate of course I am. I just never really expected us to get over the line as we never do. I think our future looks bright with the new stadium but it's gonna take a few windows for improvements to happen.

Yeah, I've heard that before. When Moshiri took over we were just a few windows away from a new dawn. This season looks quite a lot like most of the seasons of the past decade or so, give or take a standard deviation. I'm fed up of waiting. I reckon I'll still be waiting a decade from now.

Most likely mate :(
