Our recent games have been like basketball games. We score and then let the opposition run down the other end and do the same. We’ve conceded 2 or more goals in the last 5 games. The quality of our back line is just not good enough.

The amount we cough up possession is ridiculous. Mykolenko continually passes backwards to Pickford for no reason resulting in hoofs and lost possession. Keane and Tawks never find a blue shirt with clearances even when under no pressure. It just means we never control games and invites pressure. We should have beaten Palace easily today having been ahead twice but because we can't control possession we always retreat and invite pressure. The entire back 4 needs to go.

Just got back from Selhurst Park and here’s my thoughts from a South London seat equivalent to watching from the back of the lower Bullens…I might have missed a few things!

Created enough chances to have won the game but last 30 minutes was very poor and Palace looking more likely to win the game.

Some of the players were below par but there can be no excuse for the number of times we gave up possession throughout the game allowing Palace to get a foothold in the game.

Ndiaye,KDH and Barry were poor and once Garner got booked he lost influence on the game allowing Wharton to dominate in the second half…why didn’t our midfield trio get closer to him?

KDH repeating his error at Brentford when through on goal was so galling as that would have made it 3-1 and I think we would have run out comfortable winners.

The back 4 need no comment particularly the defending for their second equaliser

Many people quote Moyes ideal players who have PL experience. Maybe Moyes is not the man for the next stage.

In moyes first period defence was always decent. Always had 4 decent center halfs could play surely moyes will want to sign a few decent center halfs in the summer. Defence has shown to be very poor last few games, scored 5 goals in last 2 games unfortunately also conceded 5 goals so 2 draws.

True. On the other hand, I don't want us to end up with only older, premier league experienced players as Moyes won't be with us forever.
