I feel the need to preface this post by stating I am a traitor and I hate my country because I do not trust the words of my "betters".

With that being said, this case is creating more questions than answers which is a sign that the information we have been given is incomplete or downright untrue.

Information can be incomplete because of National Security which is understandable but the problem is most governments, and this one especially, use National Security not to keep state secrets but political secrets and yet we are being told that they are one and the same.
This case is just highlighting a growing theme. That we are not to question this most self-entitled bunch ever to lead the nation. Or perhaps, all governments have been self-entitled and finally the people of the nation won't stand for it any longer. However, I've never seen a government so at odds with the nation since the 70s so it's probably just this lot.

Anyway, I was watching a programme last night on BBC4 (yeah @davek I know, BBC) about Porton Down.
In it, they showed us how they make VX nerve agent. Not all the details obviously but they did show it being manufactured. The camera zoomed in on a flask containing about a tablespoon worth and they scientist there confirmed that it was enough to kill tens of thousands of people. Apparently, about a microgram is enough to kill a man. That is 0.000001g.
Now, this Novichok is supposed to be even deadlier, so exactly how much of this stuff did they find on the door handle at the house?
Let's say they found a milligram (0.001g). Is that enough to detect and trace? If not, how much did they find?
But let's assume 1mg for now. That's enough to kill 1000 people. How many people died? Not 1000, that's for sure.
Again, let's assume that it was absorbed by the Skripals on their hands. This deadliest nerve agent known to man.
They then went on a 4 hour jaunt around Salisbury with a deadly nerve agent on their hands. They went for a couple of drinks and a meal. They touched glasses, tables, counters, knives and forks, plates etc. With the world's most dangerous agent on their hands.
How many people were affected by that? According to the Head of A&E at Salisbury hospital - NONE!

Questions, questions.

So, going back to the aforementioned VX nerve agent. Easily produced by a state actor and extremely toxic. Also produced by many nations, including here in the West.
So, why would Russia use an agent that they knew would be linked to them immediately when they could have used VX with nobody being pinpointed? After all, isn't Putin supposed to be the world's most cunning operator?

Questions.

Finally, I am not siding with Putin or Russia, nor am I a hater of my country. Far from it.

I do not want my compatriots to take part in a conflict that will cause misery and destruction on a truly unprecedented scale and at the very least, pour billions and trillions of pounds into a manufactured conflict, all to line the pockets of a few and to steal our democracy under the guise of "security".
What next? Martial rule? Suspension of elections? A Tory war council?

Without the truth, any or all of those options become closer and more viable.

That is why we must question everything and not rest until we have definitive proof of who did it and who was behind it.

As night follows day. An attack is made on a town that’s against Assad, over 70 die in a chemical attack. Russia and Assad are condemned by the U.K., the USA, and even the Pope. Russia has asked for 61 Russian criminals in Britain to be extradited. Putin/the Kremlin want them back to stand trial and lose their money. A Russian citizen and her swapped spy dad are taken ill. Erm.

There are 61 Russian criminals living in London who have stolen around $10 billion from their home country, according to Russia's prosecutor general, who is demanding that the money should be returned.


"Since 2002, we have made requests to the UK for 61 extraditions. These people are accused or already convicted in Russia for committing economic crimes, the amount of damage is more than half a trillion rubles ($10 billion). This is only direct damage, the amount of money they siphoned off is much higher,” Yuri Chaika told Russia’s NTV channel.

In February, the UK government issued a warning to rich Russians living in Britain that it could seize assets worth more than £50,000 ($70,565) if the origin of the wealth can’t be explained.

"And I assure you, it will be very difficult for many of them to explain their wealth. We very much hope the British authorities will stick to the laws of a civilized state, and not by the principle of stealing the stolen money,” the prosecutor general added.

According to Chaika, Russia is concerned that Britain will pocket the stolen money. “You can keep the criminals, but return the money. This is our money," Chaika said.

London and other British cities have long been a safe haven for Russian runaway criminals. Until the relations between Russia and the UK deteriorated in the recent years, British officials never cared about Russian tycoons hiding in the country since the 1990s.

“They were not concerned before because they approved of the wholesale theft of Russia’s wealth back then, and the Yeltsin regime which facilitated it,” former MP George Galloway told RT in February.

“The British government is acting now for hypocritical reasons entirely based on its conflict with today’s Russian government and President Putin in particular,” he added".

The whole reaction to this thing seems massively disproportionate and stinks off some kind of agenda being pushed on the British public to me. If someone tried to poison me and my bird I can bet no one would give it a seconds thought never mind keep the story going for weeks and months on end.

If the guy had quietly been removed I’m sure you are right and that it would have been kept low key. It’s happened before and will no doubt happen again. I fully expect we have done the exact same thing. The difference here though is the deployment of a chemical nerve agent on the streets of the U.K. by a foreign power, and that is rightly not acceptable. I do not believe that Russia wanted to kill anyone other than the guy, but the mode of the attack was either incredibly clumsy or was born out of arrogance. Either way they have been caught out, refused to even accept the get out that May presented by putting their hand up and saying that it was theirs but someone else stole it or whatever. So we are where we are.......
