My point over all this is why help them do it and have to spend time tidying up after the foreign secretary , deleting foreign office tweets and explaining “what he really meant “ . By doing that you absolutely play into the Russian narrative .

All the intelligence agencies said that Saddam had stockpiles and stockpiles of WMD's.
A month ago we had the foreign office saying Porton Down had confirmed it came from Russia. The other day Porton Down denied this was the case.
You couldn't make up such PR bull as 'the spooks have identified...and confirmed.....'. Of course they have.
I wish the spooks would inform the experts at Porton Down first before telling the Telegraph.

Edit. Novichok takes effect between 30 seconds and 2 minutes after coming into contact with it with deadly effect without an antidote. They left the house at 9.30ish and were found on a bench 4 hours later.

The best part is Russia's mad claim that they don't even know what novichok is as they never invented it and never had any of it. How anyone can seriously see them say that and still think it's a Tory conspiracy is beyond me.
