Crawley a duck and four across his two innings to go with his poor performances so far this summer for England. Surely he can't be opening up for the first Test against South Africa. The lad is a walking wicket right now.

I'm going to boo him, very much, if he plays in the Test at Old Trafford

Barely made a run for two seasons now but doesn't seem to matter to whoever picks the England team.

To be fair to him in the game at Old Trafford, in the 1st innings he must have thought that was 4 when he hit it but Luke Wood took a great diving catch, and in the 2nd that ball from Bailey would have done for a lot of better openers than him.

He's a talented player but shouldn't be anywhere near the England team at the moment. To me he needs time away to work on his game, but maybe 'Baz' and Stokesy think different.

Easy to boo him, why not boo the ones who pick him?

Absolutely, Australia are no.1 in the world in all formats. Won the T20 world cup five times and lost in the other final.

Dewald Brevis, the South African who was the best player in the U19 world cup, is in that squad. For some strange reason they toured under the name of the Reliance Select XI.

They played each other twice, both sides winning one game.

Thanks I couldn’t find any scores, up until this week that Reliance side had won every game on the tour.

Reliance is the name of the Mumbai Indians holding company.

I'd add to it the downgrading of the 50 over competition - the 1st team players taking part call themselves 'the untouchables' because none of the Hundred teams want them!

Plus, only 8 days cricket for counties in the peak summer month of August - 10 if they reach the 50 over semi-finals. That's less than they played in April and half of what they played in May.

And then there's the ridiculous championship fixtures which sees teams playing some teams twice and others just once.

The T20 blast and the hundred can't both coexist long term. And I know the counties don't like to hear it, but an 18 team tournament is not a good product and the standard of the hundred is far better and more condensed.
