For who?
Got to get Kohli tonight I suspect.
Not necessarily he will run out of support regardless, look at their batting apart from him in their first innings, they're now on a deteriorating pitch and will be even worse, trust me.
It is not often that the result of a 5 day test match can be put down to one single incident but if we lose this test (as appears likely) then the catch that Malan put down when Kohli was on 21 is that incident.
Quality finish to this game (albeit a poor result for Lancashire). Nabi's innings was superb.Leicestershire 16-3.
Wow did lancs get beat? That's not good from the position they were in. I had a look at the odds when it was 16-3 and lancs were 1/33 on to win!Quality finish to this game (albeit a poor result for Lancashire). Nabi's innings was superb.
Nabi scored 86 in 32 balls. They were 92-5 when he came in. Absolutely smashed Lancs all over the park. Hate seeing Lancs lose, but it was a spectacular innings.Wow did lancs get beat? One of the main concerns should be the length of England's innings. Routinely England will bar for 1 day and post in the region of around 230. They have lost the ability to grind out runs and accumulate. Their response to a collapse is to try and attack out of it, it rarely works because you have likes of Stokes/Buttler coming to the crease at 57-5.England's batting has been papered over by the quality of bowling for many years now at test level.
Need new openers and a couple in the middle order.
Problem is there are not that many suitable candidates.
Also, Anderson and Broad can not go on for ever.
